BSI Blog

This blog is about the Bibliothèque Sino-Internationale (BSI), an important library/cultural center active in Geneva from 1932 to 1950, and later in Montevideo between 1951 and 1993. Designed and run by Chinese personalities, the BSI aimed at building a better understanding between China and the West. A general presentation of the BSI is available here.

Our research team organizes an international symposium on April 11-13, 2024 about the dissemination of Chinese culture and arts around the BSI. Program is available here.
